Provides a safe and nurturing environment for the elderly people who cannot be left home alone.

Care Coordination

On a fee-for-service basis, Care Coordination can offer assistance with managing finances, managing health by scheduling and attending doctor appointments, coordinating services to mow the lawn, clean the house, provide transportation, fix a leak, provide personal care, run errands and much more.

Personal Emergency Response System

When seconds count, the Vi and Belle Personal Emergency Response Systems can make a vital difference. No long term contracts and cancellation available at anytime.

Family Caregiver Support Program 

Family caregivers are important; they provide seniors with 80 percent of their care in the community. We’re supporting caregivers through evidence-based programs that educate, counsel and connect those who are looking after a loved one.

To live in housing managed by Area Agency on Aging of NW Arkansas, applicants must be aged 62 or older. With an exception of our Section 8 property, North Arkansas Senior Housing located in Bull Shoals and Gravette which designates two units that require no age limit if the applicant is disabled. Currently the Section 8 properties have an age and income waiver of 55 and older, with a Low-Income guideline for the counties the properties are located. Income limits for our other properties are based on the Very Low income guideline for the county the property is located. Individual complex information is listed below.

In-Home Services

Trained Caregivers are available to help with everyday tasks for seniors and disabled persons. Under the supervision of an RN, these caregivers can come to your home to provide assistance with daily activities, like bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating, so that you can remain in your own home. They can also help with cooking, cleaning, errands and limited transportation.

Medical Supplies 

Do you or your loved one need incontinence products? We can provide those supplies to you  at no cost as long as you have Arkansas Medicaid. Supplies are also available to those who don't have Arkansas Medicaid and wish to private pay.


MedSmart is an electronic reminder and dispensing system designed to help individuals take their medications properly and on-time. 

Ombudsman Program

Your Regional Ombudsman is resource to help if you feel your rights as a resident are being violated.

Senior Center Services

The most important reason for senior adults to visit a senior center is the socializing opportunities and the wide variety and broad spectrum of recreation activities, education, transportation and the nutrition program. Individuals age 60+ (and spouses regardless of age) can socialize with old friends and develop new ones. Services offered are hot nutritious noon time meals, transportation to the center, as well as shopping, doctor’s appointments, beauty shop, etc., evidence based programs, activities including Beanbag Baseball, Wii games, exercise equipment, trips, billiards, bingo, library, puzzles, computers, special events, home delivered meals and much more.
