Celebrating 39 Years of Promoting "Aging Well, Living Well" We are excited to once again host the Northwest Arkansas Senior Games in the spring of 2026. See below for all the details about this years event. In the spring of 2025 a crowd of 200 seniors converged on Harrison to participate in the Northwest Arkansas Senior Games' track, field and fun events. The Area Agency on Aging of Northwest Arkansas sponsors the event each year and has announced dates for the 2026 games. The 39th Annual NW Arkansas Senior Games will kick off with the women's 8-ball pool competition on Friday, April 10, and the men's 8-ball pool competition on Friday, April 17, at the Van Matre Senior Activity and Wellness Center, 945 South College, Fayetteville, Arkansas. The bowling competition will be held on Thursday, April 23, at Oddball Social, LLC, (formerly Cottonwood Bowl) Harrison, Arkansas. The big track, field and fun event day will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2026. The track and field events will be held at the F.S. Garrison Stadium and Cash Center, Harrison Senior High School at 1754 Burlsway in Harrison, Arkansas. The competitions will include events for the serious competitor as well as a host of recreational and fun games including: a wide variety of walks, dashes, and runs, even a 3K run; shot put, running long jump, javelin, and standing long jump; dominoes, baggo, daisy air gun, softball throw, stationary cycling, basketball shoot, spin casting, football throw, nail pounding, Skip-Bo, and a balloon bust relay. The competitions are divided into age groups. Medals will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. To see eligibility requirements and print a registration form, click here.
