North Arkansas Senior Housing of Bull Shoals, formerly known as Dogwood Apartments, a housing complex with 20 energy- efficient apartments developed to meet the needs of senior citizens, includes a number of the units specifically designed for those with mobility, hearing, or visual impairments. Each apartment has central heat and air conditioning and is furnished with a range, a frost-free refrigerator, an emergency signaling device, and washer and dryer connections. Water and trash pickup are included in rent. The complex also includes a community building, which houses a multi-purpose room, laundry facilities, and the manager’s office.

The complex was recently granted an age waiver and income waiver. At the present time, the head of household can be 55 years of age or older and have an annual gross income of no more than $29,400 for one person and $33,600 for two people. Applications may be completed online.
