Located at: Office Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m.-12:00 noon Phone: (870) 423-2156 Ozark Meadows II, a housing complex with 20 energy efficient apartments developed for senior citizens, includes a number of units specifically designed for seniors with mobility, hearing, or visual impairments. Each apartment has central heat and air conditioning and is equipped with a range, a frost-free refrigerator, washer/dryer hook-ups and an emergency signaling device. The complex also includes a community building which houses a multi-purpose room, laundry facilities and a manager's office. To reach the complex, turn north on Hailey Street (east of the Davis Barr Chevrolet dealership) off of highway 62 E. Travel approximately 3/4 of a mile and turn left onto Jessica street then right onto Clive. Turn left into the apartment complex. Rent for qualified applicants is subsidized with HUD funds. The apartments are for people 62 years of age or older and their spouses who have an annual income of no more than $14,150 for one person, or $16,150 for a couple. Rent is based on adjusted income with preference given to extremely low-income seniors.
