The complex, designed with seniors in mind, is nestled in a quiet neighborhood and features one-bedroom, energy-efficient apartments complete with electric range, refrigerator, washer/dryer hook-ups, emergency signaling devices, ceiling fans and grab bars in the bathroom. A community building houses the manager's office, a club room available for use by residents, and laundry facilities. Residents are assisted with rent by funding through the Department of Housing and and Urban Development. To qualify, the head of household must be 62 years of age or older and have an annual gross income of no more than $20,400 for one person or $23,300 for two people.
