     If you are caring for an elderly loved one, friend or neighbor, in the home, these workshops are specifically designed for you. These workshops are brought to you through the cooperative efforts of the Area Agency on Aging of Northwest Arkansas and the Schmieding Center for Senior Health and Education.

     The topics include:

  • infection control

  • mobility and range of motion
  • skin care
  • caregiver stress
  • nutrition
  • safety
  • incontinence management
  • bathing and dressing
  • body mechanics
  • personal care skills
  • transferring
  • local resources and reference materials
     
     
     
     
     

The Area Agency on Aging of Northwest Arkansas will pay for care of your loved one while you attend the workshops.

Classes are from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. at all locations unless specified.
